When an accident prevented David Byrne from continuing his career as a plasterer, he made the life changing decision to make a major career change. The result was Get Wet Ponds and Aquariums, today one of Perth's leading suppliers of aquariums, ponds and fish.

David has had a passion for aquariums and fish for as long as he can remember, so switching from one career to another want all that difficult. Funding for the fledgling company came from selling off a few assets, and over the last 20 years the business has grown steadily, and gained its reputation for quality products and great service.
